Pakistan Women have unveiled their 15-member squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup and the Tri-series that comes right before it, scheduled to be played in Ireland alongside the West Indies. The warm-up event will take place in Dublin from May 28 to June 4, giving the squad valuable match practice ahead of the major tournament.
Leadership and World Cup debutants in Pakistan’s squad
Fatima Sana has been named captain and will lead the campaign. Several players are also set to be included for the first time at this level, including Eyman Fatima, Natalia Pervaiz, Rameen Shamim, Saira Jabeen and Tasmia Rubab, who will all be making their maiden appearance in a Women’s T20 World Cup.
Changes from the Zimbabwe series squad
Amber Kainat is the only member from the group that faced Zimbabwe who has not been retained in the final World Cup squad. Diana Baig has been brought in as her replacement. Pakistan have also selected six reserve players for the tournament.

Pakistan’s ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 schedule
Pakistan’s tournament begins against India at Edgbaston in Birmingham on June 14. They then face South Africa at the same venue before moving on to matches against Bangladesh, Australia and the Netherlands, with the remaining fixture against the Netherlands taking place in Bristol.

Warm-up plans and recent form
Before the World Cup proper, Pakistan will play two warm-up matches. They will take on Sri Lanka on June 6 and Scotland on June 9, with both games scheduled to be held in Derby.
Pakistan’s most recent outing has been strong, having swept a T20 series against Zimbabwe at home, a run of form that sets up their preparations for the early clash with India.
