Orange Cap leaderboard

Heinrich Klaasen had a six-day break between matches, and the Orange Cap leadership changed hands during his absence. When he returned on Monday, he made an immediate impact by striking 47 off 26 balls, which propelled him straight back to the top with 555 runs.

The margin at the summit is razor-thin: Klaasen leads B Sai Sudharsan by a single run, while Shubman Gill is three runs behind. Gujarat Titans’ openers, as a pair, are still very much in the thick of the race.

In the chasing pack, Virat Kohli is positioned among the top five with 542 runs for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. KL Rahul follows with 533 runs for Delhi Capitals, keeping the lead group tightly contested.

Klaasen’s teammate Abhishek Sharma sits at No. 6 after a 26-run showing against CSK, bringing his season total to 507. With numbers this close, even small knocks can swing the leaderboard quickly.

Big movers after CSK vs SRH

Ishan Kishan climbed to No. 7 after a Player-of-the-Match display against CSK. He struck 70 off 47 balls and that effort lifted his total for the season to 490.

Sanju Samson also made a jump, moving past Cooper Connolly of Punjab Kings and Mitchell Marsh of Lucknow Super Giants. Samson’s 27 against SRH helped him reach No. 9 with 477 runs, adding another late twist to the Orange Cap chase.

Purple Cap leaderboard

Anshul Kamboj had a difficult spell against SRH, conceding 46 runs in four overs, but the damage was done through wickets. His haul included a breakthrough that placed him among the leading wicket-takers, making him the third bowler to touch or surpass the 20-wicket mark for the season.

Kamboj now sits on 20 wickets, with only Bhuvneshwar Kumar of RCB on 24 and Kagiso Rabada of GT on 21 ahead of him in the Purple Cap standings.

SRH’s Eshan Malinga also continued his climb by breaking away from the pack with a key wicket. His dismissal of Dewald Brevis helped him end the day with 17 wickets, matching Jofra Archer of Rajasthan Royals as both occupy places inside the top five for now.
