The BCCI has unveiled a 15-member India A squad for an upcoming one-day tri-series in Sri Lanka, handing captaincy to 23-year-old batter Tilak Varma for the June assignment. The tournament will include three teams—India A, Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A—with every white-ball encounter set to be staged in Dambulla. After the limited-overs competition, the touring group will also play two multi-day fixtures against Sri Lanka A in Galle.

The selectors have structured the tour around a first phase of one-day matches, followed by longer-format games. While the tri-nation series will be contested at Dambulla across a seven-match slate, the expedition will extend into two multi-day clashes in Galle against Sri Lanka A once the limited-overs section wraps up.
