Goenka wrote that Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s call-up deserved celebration for multiple reasons, highlighting the speed of his progress. He pointed to Sooryavanshi’s IPL debut last year, his standout knock of 175 in the U19 World Cup final, and his recognition as the Player of the Tournament.

He added that within a single year, Sooryavanshi has displayed striking talent, an ability to play without fear, and a clear hunger to keep improving.
