CSK Sign Kuldip Yadav, RCB Bring in Gleeson as Injury Replacements

Chennai Super Kings have added Delhi left-arm pace bowler Kuldip Yadav to their squad, replacing Khaleel Ahmed, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru have signed English fast bowler Richard Gleeson as cover for Nuwan Thushara in the current IPL season. Both Khaleel and Thushara have been sidelined with injuries, prompting the franchises to move quickly for replacements. Kuldip Yadav’s IPL background

Kuldip Yadav is not new to the IPL grind. He made his league debut for Rajasthan Royals in 2021 and has gone on to feature in three matches for the franchise.

Richard Gleeson’s T20I and IPL experience

Richard Gleeson arrives at RCB with international T20 experience as well as recent exposure to Indian conditions. He has played six T20I matches for England, picking up nine wickets.

Stints in the IPL

Gleeson has also been part of IPL squads in recent seasons. He represented Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians across the 2024 and 2025 editions, appearing in two games for CSK and one match for MI.
