During a practice session held a day before the DC vs PBKS game, a net bowler suffered serious injury after being struck, prompting immediate concern from everyone around the nets.
Footage that has since circulated widely on social media shows the injured bowler receiving treatment inside the ground by the stadium’s medical team. An ambulance was brought onto the venue, and the player was shifted on a stretcher before being taken to hospital for further care.
The net bowler’s identity and additional details of the injury have not been confirmed yet, with more information awaited as the franchise and medical staff continue to assess the situation.
On the cricket front, Delhi Capitals arrive at the contest with a tough task ahead. From six matches, the side has registered three wins and three defeats, placing them in sixth position and in the lower half of the table.
