Kaif also singled out Anukul Roy for his influence during the powerplay. He suggested that Roy’s performances early on give KKR the flexibility to delay Sunil Narine’s involvement slightly, allowing Kolkata to deploy him at a time when he can effectively control the middle overs.
Kaif praised Roy’s powerplay role, adding that it provides the side with tactical freedom to use Narine more strategically rather than immediately, ultimately shaping how the game unfolds in the middle phase.
