Kamboj was struck for plenty throughout the innings, ultimately finishing with figures of 2.4 overs for 63 runs in CSK\u2019s seven-wicket defeat.<\/p>\n<h2>Kamboj\u2019s spell and where it ranks in CSK\u2019s IPL history<\/h2>\n<p>The 63 runs conceded in just 2.4 overs has already become the second-highest total surrendered by a CSK bowler in an IPL innings.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the most runs allowed by a CSK bowler in a single IPL innings:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>0\/65 (3 overs) \u2013 Khaleel Ahmed vs RCB, Bengaluru, 2025<\/li>\n<li>0\/63 (2.4 overs) \u2013 Anshul Kamboj vs LSG, Lucknow, 2026<\/li>\n<li>0\/62 (4 overs) \u2013 Lungi Ngidi vs MI, Delhi, 2021<\/li>\n<li>2\/61 (4 overs) \u2013 Shardul Thakur vs RCB, Bengaluru, 2024<\/li>\n<li>2\/60 (4 overs) \u2013 Simarjeet Singh vs GT, Ahmedabad, 2024<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How rare was the damage: three overs or less, but 60+ conceded<\/h2>\n<p>Beyond CSK\u2019s internal record, Kamboj also joined a small and unwanted group. He became only the second bowler in IPL history to leak more than 60 runs in a match while bowling three overs or fewer. The other player to achieve that mark was Khaleel Ahmed, who ended with 0\/65 against RCB in Bengaluru in 2025.<\/p>\n<h2>Boundary assault: sixes, fours, and a record shared<\/h2>\n<p>The LSG chase was built on boundaries, and Kamboj bore the brunt. Of the 16 deliveries he bowled, 11 were punished for either a four or a six, meaning 68.75% of his balls went for runs in boundary form.<\/p>\n<p>Kamboj also matched an IPL milestone for six-hitting impact in a single over. He became the first bowler in IPL history to be struck for four sixes in an over on two separate occasions in the league.<\/p>\n<p>In total, he conceded eight sixes in the innings, equalling the IPL record for the most sixes allowed by a bowler in one innings. That mark is shared with Yash Dayal, who conceded the same number of maximums against KKR in Ahmedabad in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>When considering IPL spells of at least two overs, only Washington Sundar posted a worse boundary rate. Sundar gave away 10 boundaries off 12 balls during his 1\/46 spell in two overs versus DC in 2024, with 83.33% of his deliveries ending as boundaries.<\/p>\n<h2>The turning point: Pooran\u2019s over in the chase<\/h2>\n<p>Kamboj\u2019s most damaging phase arrived in the 17th over, when Nicholas Pooran launched four straight sixes to bring the chase to a close for LSG.<\/p>\n<p>For fans tracking
