That total can be overtaken by RR and CSK with only one more win, while KKR would be able to cross the line with two victories.<\/p>\n<h2>Chennai Super Kings: mathematics, not momentum, keeps the door ajar<\/h2>\n<p>Chennai Super Kings\u2019 defeat to SRH has left them needing one of the most unlikely combinations of results among the teams still mathematically alive. CSK are on 12 points from 13 matches, and their maximum is 14\u2014if they beat GT in Ahmedabad.<\/p>\n<p>Even reaching 14 may not be sufficient unless nearly everything else breaks in CSK\u2019s favor.
