NEW DELHI: Mumbai Indians have had yet another difficult moment in IPL 2026, with captain Hardik Pandya receiving an additional setback on Thursday after being fined for a breach of the tournament\u2019s Code of Conduct. Pandya accepted the charge and the sanction, with match referee Rajiv Seth administering the penalty. Along with the fine, he was handed one demerit point. Under IPL rules, collecting between four and seven demerit points can result in a one-match suspension, keeping the captain\u2019s immediate availability under watch in the final stages of the league.<\/p>\n
This disciplinary blow landed on top of another frustrating night for Mumbai Indians, who are already out of the playoff race.
