NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli once again became the centre of attention in Royal Challengers Bengaluru\u2019s IPL 2026 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad\u2014not only for what happened during the contest, but also for a heated exchange involving Travis Head. The incident unfolded while RCB were in their chase of a daunting 256-run target, with the verbal tension flashing on the field before the game moved on.<\/p>\n
As RCB chased, Kohli and Head exchanged words that quickly caught the eye. Kohli\u2019s response to a comment from Head was blunt: \u201cOkay come down and bowl some deliveries.\u201d Soon after that moment, Kohli was dismissed, and Head then delivered a retort of his own: \u201cMate, you got out before I even came on to bowl,\u201d a line that appeared to further irk the RCB batter.<\/p>\n

SRH\u2019s batting approach was aggressive from the outset. Abhishek Sharma attacked Bhuvneshwar Kumar early, while Kishan\u2019s innings combined fearless hitting with strategic gaps. Klaasen then piled on with powerful shots, and a late surge from Nitish Reddy pushed SRH beyond the 250-run mark.<\/p>\n
