He also pointed to how match conditions can sometimes expose gaps in a team\u2019s profile. \u201cWhen we play well, we\u2019re a good unit. It has happened often in this IPL. But there are also conditions that perhaps don\u2019t suit the makeup of our team. Those are the skills we either have to develop, or we have to recruit someone different.\u201d<\/p>\n
Simons concluded by linking the learning curve directly to CSK\u2019s evolving squad. \u201cWe\u2019re a very new side. There are a lot of young cricketers. We know a lot more about them. That\u2019s an important learning for Stephen (Fleming) as head coach \u2014 to know the balance of the side,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
