Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and chose to bowl first against Delhi Capitals (DC) at Eden Gardens, with both sides looking to make the most of the crucial contest.<\/p>\n
For KKR, the path to the playoffs is still alive\u2014but not in isolation. To secure a fourth-place berth, KKR need Mumbai Indians (MI) to defeat Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the match underway at the Wankhede Stadium. After that, their equation against DC would hinge on the target they set: if DC are limited to 180, KKR would have to chase it down in roughly 12 to 12.4 overs, depending on their eventual winning chase.<\/p>\n
KKR made a personnel adjustment as Angkrish Raghuvanshi was ruled out due to a concussion and a finger injury, with Tejasvi Dahiya brought into the XI.<\/p>\n
