Their aggressive starts have been a recurring theme in IPL 2026, and the Royals\u2019 early success in the tournament has been tightly linked to what they\u2019ve done at the top.<\/p>\n

How the opening partnership has defined RR\u2019s early IPL 2026 run<\/h2>\n

  1. In RR\u2019s opening game against Chennai Super Kings at Guwahati, Jaiswal and Sooryavanshi combined for 75 runs off 38 balls to set up a straightforward chase.<\/li>\n
  2. Against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad, the pair struck again, producing a 70-run partnership from 38 deliveries\u2014an innings-defining stand that helped RR edge the match by six runs.<\/li>\n
  3. In the clash versus Mumbai Indians, heavy rain delayed the start. Play eventually began at 10:10pm, and RR\u2019s openers immediately pressed the advantage.<\/li>\n
  4. During the five-over burst that followed, Jaiswal and Sooryavanshi hammered 80 runs, forcing MI to keep recalculating their plans.<\/li>\n
