Sara Tendulkar turned up to cheer for her brother Arjun Tendulkar and the Lucknow franchise at Ekana. In another gesture of support, Arjun\u2019s wife was seen arriving in an LSG jersey to back him. The scenes sparked questions about why Sara didn\u2019t wear an LSG shirt and whether she still holds a deep-rooted loyalty to Mumbai Indians.<\/p>\n
Gujarat Titans secured a seven-wicket victory over Lucknow Super Giants, with Prasidh Krishna producing a standout four-wicket haul and skipper Shubman Gill along with Jos Buttler anchoring the chase with half-centuries. The win lifted Gujarat to fifth place in the standings, where they sit with two victories and two defeats for four points. Lucknow, meanwhile, slipped to sixth with the same win-loss tally.<\/p>\n
Lucknow were sent in first and finished on 164\/8. Aiden Markram was the only batter to pass 20, making 30 off 21 deliveries, including five boundaries and a six. Krishna was the key for Gujarat, taking 4\/28 during his spell to keep LSG\u2019s total within reach.<\/p>\n
In reply, Gill and Buttler powered Gujarat toward the target with fifties. Gill struck 56 off 40 balls, using six fours and one six, while Buttler made 60 off 37 with 11 boundaries. Gujarat reached 165 with seven wickets in hand and eight balls still available.<\/p>\n
Sai Sudharsan gave Gujarat a steady start, striking two fours off Mohammed Shami in the opening over. Digvesh Rathi then swung the contest back in Lucknow\u2019s favour by removing Sai Sudharsan. Shortly after, Buttler\u2019s backfoot hitting helped Gujarat move past the 50-run mark by 5.5 overs.<\/p>\n
Buttler and Gill found further momentum against left-arm spinner George Linde. They struck 21 runs off the first two overs of his spell, with both batters sharing the scoring. By the midway stage, Gujarat were in a strong position at 86\/1, with Buttler on 22 not out and Gill on 48 not out.<\/p>\n
Gill then continued his form, bringing up his second consecutive half-century in 34 balls. His knock included six fours and a six. Buttler added to the acceleration in the 12th over as he hit Avesh Khan for a run of boundaries, notching a hat-trick of fours as Gujarat moved beyond 100 in 11.4 overs.<\/p>\n
