West Indies batter Nicholas Pooran has moved ahead of KL Rahul to claim the top run-scoring position in Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) history. Although Pooran\u2019s form has been under pressure during the IPL match at Lucknow against his own side, he still delivered the small knock that mattered, making 19 off 21 balls and striking two sixes to secure his place in the record books.<\/p>\n

Across 47 matches and innings for LSG, Pooran has accumulated 1,422 runs at an average of 39.50, striking at 177.30. His tally includes 10 half-centuries, underlining how often he has been able to provide the kind of impact that changes the rhythm of an innings.<\/p>\n

Rahul, prior to being overtaken, had scored 1,410 runs in 38 IPL appearances for Lucknow, averaging 41.47. His strike rate stands at 130.67, and he finished with two centuries alongside 10 fifties.<\/p>\n

This season, Pooran has had a quieter start. In four innings so far, he has managed 41 runs at an average of 10.25, with a strike rate of 85.41 and a highest score of 19. In 11 innings overall this year, he is on 153 runs at 13.90, maintaining a strike rate that has hovered above 110, with his best knock reaching 33.<\/p>\n

  3. Krishna was the standout for GT with figures of 4\/28 during LSG\u2019s innings.<\/li>\n
