  3. His combination of consistency and power included 13 sixes, helping him finish as Player of the Series.<\/li>\n
  4. South Africa ultimately won the series 3-2 after being behind earlier in the contest, adding to the significance of his impact.<\/li>\n
  5. That upward curve is now reflected in his first IPL assignment, following a steady climb through domestic and franchise cricket.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This signing marks Esterhuizen\u2019s entry into the league, a notable step after he has previously turned out in South Africa\u2019s SA20 competition.
