Many expected high-profile visitors to be tucked away in the VIP seating, yet the duo was spotted among the supporters rather than in a reserved corporate enclosure, a move that quickly drew praise online for being visibly relaxed and fan-focused.<\/p>\n
The reason the outing stood out, though, was on-field drama. Cameron Green delivered a composed, high-impact innings of 79 off 55 balls for KKR, smashing seven fours and four sixes and helping the team fight back after early setbacks. But the momentum didn\u2019t last. In the closing overs, Kolkata\u2019s batting disintegrated, losing their final six wickets for only 33 runs to end on 180 all out in their 20 overs against Gujarat Titans.<\/p>\n
For GT, Kagiso Rabada was the most effective bowler, finishing with figures of 3 for 33. In the final stretch, the innings became chaotic. Green, who had reached 75 off 44 balls, ended up at the non-striker\u2019s end as wickets fell in quick succession\u2014during that period, he faced only two of the dismissals. Off his last 11 balls, Green added just four more runs, before being caught behind off the last ball of the innings off Rashid.
