Rohit, in particular, was seen batting during Tuesday evening, a routine he has been leaning on recently, but the belief was that he remains some way from true match fitness.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a growing sense that Rohit may have the final say on whether he is ready to take the field. As of Wednesday, the situation was still described as unresolved, with his fitness continuing to look like the main barrier to a decision.<\/p>\n<p>Kasi Viswanathan, the CEO of the Mumbai franchise, indicated the team\u2019s position clearly. He said they had asked Rohit to let them know when he feels ready, but that as of that point he had not provided an update.
