The 31-year-old is currently listed as part of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), though the franchise is yet to announce a replacement.<\/p>\n<h2>Why Thushara went to court \u2014 and why he left it<\/h2>\n<p>Thushara informed the Colombo District Court that he wanted to discontinue the case, noting that a significant portion of the IPL had already been completed. The matter was heard again on April 9, when SLC indicated it wanted to submit objections. The case was then taken up once more on April 23, when it was dismissed.<\/p>\n<p>Thushara has played 30 international matches, all of them T20 Internationals. In IPL, he appeared for Mumbai Indians in 2024 before moving to RCB in 2025.
