Punjab Kings head coach Ricky Ponting also walked to the middle to check on Ngidi\u2019s condition as the treatment continued.<\/p>\n<h2>Reactions from teammates and next steps<\/h2>\n<p>Ngidi\u2019s teammates David Miller and Tristan Stubbs appeared visibly shaken as the incident unfolded. With doctors, physios, players, and coaches surrounding the injured pacer, he was eventually carried off the field and loaded into the ambulance.<\/p>\n<p>Ngidi was taken for further assessment and immediate treatment at Max Hospital in Karol Bagh, where medical staff would continue to evaluate the extent of the injury.
