Lucknow Super Giants pulled off a stunning late chase of 156 against Kolkata Knight Riders, forcing a Super Over after they needed 17 runs from the last over and eventually levelling the scores in a finish packed with no-balls, wickets and a last-ball six from Mohammed Shami. Kartik Tyagi delivered the final over for KKR, and it turned into a dramatic sequence where every delivery changed the momentum.<\/p>\n

Tyagi\u2019s final over: the chase turns into chaos<\/h2>\n

  1. LSG started the over needing 17 runs, with Tyagi on the ball.<\/li>\n
  2. On the first delivery, Tyagi bowled a slower off-cutter outside off. Shami swung and missed, but wicketkeeper Tim Seifert mishandled the chance, resulting in a bye and leaving Himmat Singh on strike.<\/li>\n
  3. The second ball proved pivotal: Tyagi sent down a waist-high full toss that struck Himmat\u2019s bat high as he went for a pull, and the umpire called it a no-ball. Because it was a no-ball, LSG received a free hit.<\/li>\n
  4. On the free hit, Tyagi again bowled a waist-high full toss. Himmat tried to loft it, and Rovman Powell grabbed the catch at long-on. However, since it was another no-ball, the dismissal was wiped out and Himmat remained.<\/li>\n
  5. With Tyagi having bowled two beamers, there was confusion about whether he should be taken off. KKR\u2019s dugout, featuring Abhishek Nayar and Dwayne Bravo, discussed a change, and captain Ajinkya Rahane also spoke with the side.<\/li>\n
  6. After consultation, the officials ruled that only the first beamer was dangerous and the second was not, allowing Tyagi to continue.<\/li>\n
  7. With the next ball in play after the no-ball\/free-hit sequence, Himmat Singh pulled it for four to deep backward square leg, trimming the equation further.<\/li>\n
  8. Tyagi then struck again on the very next delivery, removing Himmat Singh. He bowled a length ball outside off, Himmat shuffled across to heave it, but lacked the necessary timing and power. Rinku Singh took the catch at deep backward square leg. Himmat finished with 19 off 10 balls.<\/li>\n
  9. The following ball brought another twist: after Prince Yadav missed a slower short ball, Seifert failed to gather it cleanly, awarding another bye.<\/li>\n
  10. Tyagi followed with a dot ball to Shami\u2014another short-of-length delivery outside off\u2014Shami missed his slash, leaving LSG needing six off the final ball.<\/li>\n
  11. On the last delivery, Tyagi bowled short and wide outside off. Shami connected and launched a big hit straight for six, tying the scores and sending the match into a Super Over.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
