The rapid-bowling hero sparked a collapse that helped Penkridge cruise to a 116-run win.<\/p>\n<h3>Quick facts<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Myles Davis took six wickets in six balls for Penkridge against Pelsall.<\/li>\n<li>The match was a South Staffordshire County League Premier Division contest.<\/li>\n<li>Penkridge won by 116 runs after posting 168 and bowling Pelsall out for 52.<\/li>\n<li>Davis finished with figures of 7-16 in six overs.<\/li>\n<li>The feat is described as having happened only seven times worldwide.<\/li>\n<li>Davis reportedly had his shift covered by a colleague so he could play.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Penkridge were dismissed for 168, but Pelsall\u2019s chase never really caught momentum. They were steady at 49-2 when Davis struck, unleashing a sequence that left batters and onlookers stunned. After that, the innings unravelled quickly, with the visitors eventually bowled out for 52.<\/p>\n<p>Davis had already removed a batter earlier in the innings, but the defining moment arrived in the ninth over. He began with a wide, then altered the entire flow of the contest with a pair of clean dismissals using the last two deliveries of the spell. With a hat-trick ball now within reach, teammates watching from the sidelines reportedly pulled out their phones in anticipation.<\/p>\n<p>In the very next over, he delivered the breakthrough on the first ball again, and the wicket was taken by the wicketkeeper on the leg side. Davis then continued to torment the batting order, striking out the next three batters in succession and repeatedly rattling the stumps. Pelsall, who had looked in control at 49-2, slid to 49-9 as the damage mounted.<\/p>\n<h3>The reaction<\/h3>\n<p>Speaking to BBC Midlands Today, Davis said the moment still felt unreal, calling the achievement \u201camazing.\u201d He explained that when the fourth wicket fell, he was simply amazed as it seemed to snowball from there, and he couldn\u2019t quite believe it was continuing.<\/p>\n<p>When the spell ended, Davis had posted remarkable figures of 7-16 from six overs\u2014joining an exclusive group of bowlers to take six wickets in six balls. Penkridge chairman John Price said the feat has occurred only seven times worldwide, and that Davis became the first adult male in the UK to reach that milestone.<\/p>\n<p>Price added that it was a \u201cmassive achievement\u201d and that the club was extremely proud. Davis also revealed he was close to missing the game entirely, but was able to turn out after a workmate covered his shift.<\/p>\n<p>He finished by thanking his colleague for covering him so he could
