Rajasthan Royals\u2019 teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has made an immediate impact in IPL 2026, and he now has a fresh target within touching distance. The 15-year-old is just one maximum away from reaching 100 sixes in T20 cricket. Should he get to the milestone, he would become the only teenager in the world to achieve that tally in the format.<\/p>\n

Sooryavanshi has already been rewriting benchmarks this season, piling up standout milestones along the way:<\/p>\n

Fastest to 400 runs in an IPL season:<\/b> He reached 400 runs off just 167 balls, eclipsing the earlier mark of 188 deliveries set by Andre Russell.<\/p>\n

Youngest and fastest to 1,000 T20 runs:<\/b> In a 37-ball 103 against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he became the youngest player to cross 1,000 runs in men\u2019s T20s and also did it quicker than anyone else by balls faced. His 1,000th run came in 473 balls, moving past Mitchell Owen\u2019s 533-ball record.<\/p>\n

Most sixes by an Indian in an IPL innings:<\/b> On April 25, 2026, he struck 12 sixes against Sunrisers Hyderabad, breaking the previous Indian record of 11, a mark he had shared earlier with Murali Vijay.<\/p>\n

Fastest century of the season:<\/b> His 36-ball hundred versus SRH was the quickest ton of the 2026 campaign and ranks as the third-fastest century in IPL history.<\/p>\n

Youngest to multiple centuries:<\/b> He is the youngest batter ever to register two IPL centuries, and both came when he was still under 40 balls into his innings.<\/p>\n

    So far in IPL 2026, Sooryavanshi has amassed 400 runs across 9 matches at an average of 44.44, striking at 238.09. His output includes one century and two fifties, with a best score of 103. He has also hit 34 fours and 37 sixes, and he required just 6 more sixes to surpass Abhishek\u2019s IPL season benchmark.<\/p>\n
