He also added that if he got in, his aim was to see the chase through to the end.<\/p>\n<h2>MI\u2019s position, key wickets and standout spells<\/h2>\n<p>Mumbai Indians, themselves also five-time champions, were dealt another setback in this season\u2019s campaign as they lost their second game to Chennai. The defeat leaves them in ninth place, having suffered seven losses from nine matches.<\/p>\n<p>Hardik Pandya, captaining Mumbai, summed up the result bluntly, saying it simply had not been their season. He noted that Chennai played better, bowled better, fielded better and batted better\u2014pointing to a complete shift in performance across departments.<\/p>\n<p>For CSK\u2019s bowling unit, the turning points came from Noor Ahmad, a left-arm wrist spinner who produced two crucial breakthroughs. However, his innings struggled to gather pace, and he eventually fell to England quick Jamie Overton.
