With Green also contributing effectively in the middle overs, KKR managed the chase with authority and kept the momentum firmly on their side.<\/p>\n<h2>Where the table stands after the latest results<\/h2>\n<p>At the top, Sunrisers Hyderabad are leading the standings with 14 points from 11 matches. He suggested that Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru are almost certain to reach the playoffs, leaving the remaining two positions to be decided among Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals, and Punjab Kings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSRH and RCB are confirmed. Between GT, RR and PBKS, the other two playoff spots will be decided,\u201d Ashwin said, framing the race as a three-way contest for the final two spots.<\/p>\n<p>He then explained why CSK cannot afford any slip-ups in their remaining fixtures. In his view, Chennai\u2019s path requires complete control of their own results, with external results also likely to play a major role.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor CSK to qualify, they must win all four remaining matches. They can\u2019t leave it to chance. Even with 16 points, qualification will depend on RR losing three out of four, PBKS dropping points and CSK maintaining a strong NRR,\u201d Ashwin added.<\/p>\n<h2>Net run rate and the next CSK turning point<\/h2>\n<p>Ashwin also highlighted net run rate as the key differentiator for teams in a tight table. He pointed to Chennai\u2019s upcoming matches against Lucknow Super Giants as potential turning points, stressing that these games could shape the final qualification equation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s where net run rate becomes important. I feel if Chennai win both matches against LSG, they won\u2019t just qualify, they could go all the way, just like in 2010.
