Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan has added yet another standout chapter to his IPL journey, climbing into the top tier of wicket-takers in the tournament\u2019s history during Gujarat Titans\u2019 commanding 77-run win over Rajasthan Royals at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Rashid\u2019s spell was the turning point, as he returned figures of 4\/33 from his four overs to help GT overpower RR in emphatic fashion.<\/p>\n

Rashid Khan\u2019s landmark and dominant spell<\/h2>\n

By delivering a match-winning burst, Rashid Khan not only secured the Player of the Match award, but also moved past Lasith Malinga on the all-time IPL wickets list. Rashid now sits on 173 wickets across 147 IPL matches, with an average of 23.72. His haul includes three four-wicket innings, and his best figures are 4\/24. Malinga, who previously held the wicket milestone, finished with 170 wickets.<\/p>\n

The Gujarat Titans spinner is also continuing to thrive in the current campaign. He is joint fourth in the Purple Cap standings, having collected 15 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 22.60.
