He made 57 and combined effectively with Priyansh Arya, as the pair put together a 33-ball opening stand worth 50 runs to take PBKS to 55 for 1 in the powerplay.<\/p>\n<p>From there, the innings accelerated as Prabhsimran added another 57-run partnership\u2014this time with Cooper Connolly\u2014to push the team beyond the 100-run mark by the 12th over. The foundation was solid, but MI made inroads when Shardul took 4\/39, including a four-wicket burst that brought the visitors back into contention.<\/p>\n<p>Despite that interruption, PBKS found their finishing gear late. They scored 53 runs in the last three overs to reach a competitive total of 200 for 8.<\/p>\n<h3>Varma steers MI home<\/h3>\n<p>In reply, Ryan Rickelton attacked from the outset and helped Mumbai Indians race to 59 without loss, even as Rohit Sharma\u2019s 25 came at the other end. The early platform looked dominant, but PBKS responded with a burst of their own during the middle overs.<\/p>\n<p>PBKS clawed back by taking three wickets for 57 runs between the seventh and 13th overs, tightening the chase. Still, Tilak Varma delivered the decisive batting display, remaining unbeaten on 75 off 33 balls to keep MI steady under pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Varma built the chase with intent, first forging a 61-run stand off 42 deliveries with Sherfane Rutherford, who contributed 20. He then joined Will Jacks to close out the job, and Mumbai Indians completed the chase in 19.5 overs, sealing the win just short of the 20-over
