Questionable selection choices and an inconsistent batting order have repeatedly disrupted their rhythm.<\/p>\n<p>KKR\u2019s brief surge was sparked by four consecutive victories, beginning with their win over Rajasthan Royals in their most recent home match on April 19. However, that momentum faltered against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, where Virat Kohli produced a batting masterclass and KKR\u2019s fielding let them down.<\/p>\n<p>With three matches remaining, Kolkata\u2019s ceiling is 15 points if they win all of them. Yet even that outcome may not be enough to guarantee a playoff berth, as qualification would then depend on how other teams fare in their remaining games. Rinku Singh has compiled 286 runs at 148.95 and has hit two fifties.<\/p>\n<p>Both batters are expected to carry major responsibility in KKR\u2019s remaining home matches against Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals.<\/p>\n<h2>Why Gujarat Titans look like genuine title contenders<\/h2>\n<p>Gujarat Titans, led by Shubman Gill, have looked among the most complete teams in the competition. Their recent surge included five straight wins, which moved them level on points with Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the top of the table race.<\/p>\n<p>That climb has been driven largely by a bowling attack that has delivered at crucial moments. Kagiso Rabada produced two Player-of-the-Match performances during the streak, Jason Holder also earned two awards, and Rashid Khan appears to have rediscovered the form that made him such a consistent threat in earlier years.<\/p>\n<p>The Titans have also benefited from a well-matched combination of bowling and a top order led by Gill and Sai Sudharsan. Sudharsan, in particular, continues to rack up runs and influence matches. After winning the Orange Cap last year with 759 runs, he has already amassed 501 runs this season and is only seven behind the current leader, Heinrich Klaasen. He has recorded five fifties in his last six innings, including a century.<\/p>\n<p>Gill has contributed with fluent batting as well, while Washington Sundar has offered quiet but effective control in against KKR and Chennai Super Kings, GT will want to secure a top-two finish to lock in the advantage that comes with finishing inside the top bracket of the table.<\/p>\n<p>At Eden Gardens,
