KKR Star Angkrish Raghuvanshi Ruled Out for Rest of IPL Season Ahead vs DC

Kolkata Knight Riders have received a significant blow ahead of their must-win, do-or-die IPL 2026 encounter against Delhi Capitals, with wicketkeeper-batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi ruled out for the rest of the season. The franchise confirmed the development in an official update, ending any hope of the batter returning in the remaining stages of the tournament.

KKR stated that Raghuvanshi has been ruled out of the 2026 TATA Indian Premier League after suffering a concussion along with a fracture to a finger on his left hand. The injury occurred as he went for a catch during KKR’s match against Mumbai Indians on Wednesday, 20 May. The club also shared a message of support, wishing him a speedy and complete recovery.

Raghuvanshi has been one of Kolkata’s key performers throughout IPL 2026. He appeared in 13 matches, amassing 422 runs at an average of 42.20 while maintaining a strike rate of 146.53, underlining his importance to the team’s batting plans this season.
