Royal Challengers Bengaluru all-rounder Tim David has been fined 30% of his relevant match fee and has received two demerit points after a breach of Level 1 under the IPL’s Code of Conduct for players and team personnel. The disciplinary action was handed down following an incident that fell under Article 2.6 of the league’s code, which covers behaviour involving a gesture that is obscene, offensive, or insulting.
David admitted to the offence and accepted the punishment set by the match referee, Amit Sharma.
